Over 100 Dogs have been saved from death row since the Jail Dogs program started 2 years ago. The season finale of "Pit Bulls and Parolees" featured Brauny Brooks when he first arrived in 1C. Today Brawny is doing well and a very loveable Dog.
Norton is a very happy go lucky dog and seems to love everybody.
I have met the most amazing dogs saved from death row by Operation Second Chance. Not only are these dogs getting a second chance at a good life but also getting a second chance are the inmates who the dogs live with until they are adopted. Since the program started there is always a bully breed in 1C. These dogs are so sweet, loyal, funny and super intelligent. It''s so sad because of ignorance and greed so many of these dogs are abused and killed. I sure do love my rescue bully dog Leeloo and I am so glad she found me. Please join the No Kill Revolution and help educate people about why they need to spay and neuter their dogs and cats which will save so many more animals from dying alone and scared in high kill shelters all around the world.
The "Jail Dogs In 1C" webisodes are part of a feature length documentary and documentary series I have been shootng for almost 2 years. These videos introduce people to the wonderful dogs who are waitingto be adopted. this program should be in jails everywhere because it gives both the dogs and inmates a second chance at a good life.
